Should I write a book?

Hi, What glorious weather we are having - no matter what pain you are in when the sun is shinning it can't help but put a little smile on your face :D We had a lovely couple of hours walking in the town today taking advantage of being warm for a change. I sent my Dad and my sister a copy of an article I had written and Dad emailed me back saying its about time I wrote a book and my sister emailed back saying she was looking forward to seeing me on the GMTV sofa. Sooooooooooo shall I do it or not? I've been saying I would write a book like a million other people have for years and years and really enjoy writing as I find it very theraputic. But the only writing I have done has been reviews and articles on health and I also cover the communtiy news for a local paper which is quite different to writing a book. I also know what I am like and whether I'm in pain or not I will still keep doing it so, will I ruin the theraputic side and overdo it? If I'm on the computer for longer than normal my neck stiffens up straight away. But, I would really really love to write one and probably just need a bit of encouragement and a little kick from behind and then I think I would just get stuck in. Of course one of the most important factors to your book is it's content as I guess most people can write a book but if it's not interesting enough to read then you may as well not bother. The book I have always said I would write would revolve around my years of battling back pain and all the surgeries, treatments, drugs and alternative therapies I have tried to help with the pain. Now I appreciate this may be of no interest to someone who does not suffer with a bad back but if I wrote it in diary format and put some humour into it then it could possibly interest others (I hope). I would also love to be able to help a charity connected to spinal problems in the hope that maybe I could help just one person along the way. Anyway, I guess its up to me to decide but any comments would be appreciated. Thanks for reading my blog.
