Cheese can apparently boost the immune system as a carrier for good bacteria. So, if you eat pro biotic varieties of cheese, like Gouda, it will not only help to boost your immune system but also has been known to tackle age related deterioration.
Tests showed that people who ate the pro biotic cheese had an increased number of white blood cells, which help fight infection.
