A Light to Find Your Pain

Doctors have developed a new technique which allows them to 'see your pain' for the first time. The new technology could provide relief for some of the ten million Britons whose lives are blighted with chronic pain from conditions like back pain, arthritis, cancer or headaches. The new test involves injecting special 'markers' into the body, which bind to inflamed tissue and light up showing in the scan. This then enables the doctors to see exactly where the pain is coming from. How clever is that !!! The study has shown that the test can give them more of an idea of what targets to aim for. This can then help them treat the problem better in the early stages, which could then prevent it turning into a long term problem.
