Is Fibromyalgia Different in Women to Men.?
According to 'Fibro Network', they say that a recent investigation headed by Virginia Aparicio Ph,d,
found that women were found to have less vitality/more fatigue than men, which could mean Fibromyalgia symptoms affect the female body in a different way to men.
However, the overall impact of the condition was harder on the men. Men had a worse perception of their health and 'more impact' of the disease. The actual gender difference appears to be low or non existent.
They did find that treatment plans needed to be different from males and females.
