Hug Your Knees for Back Pain

Blog pics 058 According to an article in today's Good Health in the Daily Mail, hugging your knees can help back pain. A Consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Barnet Hospital, Rajiv Bajekal, takes some simple painkillers like Paracetamol for back pain for a few days then he does some simple yoga exercises to stretch his back and then lies down and pulls his knees to his stomach and rolls from side to side to give the back a good stretch. Rajiv also advocates a memory foam mattress which he says 'contours your spine and eases pressure around it.' Blog pics 057
