Today is National Spinal Awareness Day
Spinal surgery in under 45s is becoming more common, but it is still classed as rare. There is little awareness about the difference between the common back pain and having to undergo major spinal surgery due to a long term spinal condition e.g. Degenerative Disc Disease.
