- Stay organised. It is really about creating little daily habits that then have a positive effect on health and happiness.
- Take up a hobby which doesn't flare up your pain. If its something you have never done before then find a course online to try it for the first time. I LOVE my hobbies, from knitting, sewing, baking to making my own handmade cards. The website Statista has statistics on popular hobbies.
- Make your own happiness, make social connections or do a random act of kindness.
- Keep a notepad for the end of the day and write down three to five things that you are grateful for. They say that in just over two weeks the habit can significantly boost your well being over time.
- Keep a to do list. Personally I cannot live without my to do list, its like my Bible, I check it throughout the day. You just have to be careful you do not leave yourself too much to do on your to do list or this can make you quite anxious. A great book on this is Off The Clock: Feel Less Busy While Getting More Done, by Laura Vanderkam Learn to savour life's best moments - no matter how busy you are - through mindset shifts that alter your perception of time. With the right habits, you can live efficiently and effectively, and yet still see time as abundant.
