Dry Needling or Acupuncture Needling for Pain?

Dry needling or acupuncture needling for pain ?Which have you tried and did either treatment work ? I've tried them both and can honestly say I didn't notice much difference between them, but I did not have them both at the same time so it's quite hard to remember.
