National Heart Month - February 2024 - In the UK, someone dies from a heart or circulatory condition every three minutes.

Tinnitus Awareness Week 5-11th February 2024. Chime,is leading advocate for Tinnitus awareness and support, as such we are proud to announce a series of online seminars as part of Tinnitus Awareness Week 2024. The event, will offer invaluable insights into managing tinnitus, covering topics such as Insomnia, Hearing Loss, and Self Care.   Tinnitus Awareness Week will take place from Monday, February 5th, to Sunday, February 11th and our seminars will run from  11am - 12noon from Tuesday 6th to Friday 9th. Time To Talk Day 1st February 2024 -  It's the nation's biggest mental health conversation. Happening every year, it’s a day for friends, families, communities, and workplaces to come together to talk, listen and change lives.

Time to Talk Day 2024 will take place 1 February 2024. It’s run by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness and is being delivered in partnership with Co-op for the third year running. Across the UK, it’s delivered by See Me in Scotland, Inspire in Northern Ireland and Time to Change Wales

The more conversations we have, the better life is for everyone. Talking about mental health isn’t always easy and sometimes it’s even harder to say how you really feel. But a conversation has the power to change lives.

Eating Disorders Awareness Week 26th February - 3rd March 2024 - This year they are shining a light on a health condition that we know doesn't always get the attention it deserves: ARFID.

ARFID stands for avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder and is a largely unknown and misunderstood eating disorder.  ARFID can have serious consequences for health if left untreated.

The number of people affected by ARFID is unknown. Treatment is not available nationwide and people with ARFID, or who suspect they may have it, struggle to access the help they need.

Raynaud’s Awareness Month 1st - 29th February - Raynaud’s Awareness Month is an annual campaign designed to shed light on Raynaud’s phenomenon, a vascular disorder that leads to reduced blood flow to the extremities in response to cold temperatures or stress. During this month, various organizations, healthcare professionals, and individuals work together to provide information, support, and resources for people affected by this condition.

You can get involved with their campaign by writing to your MP to demand help with heating costs for people with Raynaud's and you can also help spread the word by hosting a Catch up with a Coffee, following Raynaud's Awareness Month on social media and keep the conversation going.
