Journal of a Back Pain Sufferer Thursday 29th February

#backpainawareness#fibromyalgia#health#lowbackpain#nhshealth awareness days

The weather recently is enough to make anyone depressed. I certainly cannot wait for some more sunny days and take advantage of any sunshine we have at the moment.

I am definitely on the mend. The pain in my sternum and ribs is much easier and the coughing has nearly gone completely which has helped it heal much quicker.

Taking medication regularly like my GP told me was definitely the best way to deal with the pain. I am still sleeping well at night and yet need about 2/3 hours in the afternoon.

I am also managing to do a bit more blogging a the moment and I had my grandaughter for a day for the first time in weeks and weeks which was wonderful.

I have been going through lots of my photos to see which ones I could embroider without success so I think I will have to look at some postcards to use instead.

We had some friends come for supper last week which was the first time we have socialised since we started with Covid the first week in January. It was lovely to chat to someone else other than just each other.

I am lucky enough to have an amazing husband who looks after me so well and considering we have been no where since the first week in January it's amazing we have not fallen out once. As I am sure you can tell I am a happier bunny at the moment and keen to get my life back to normal again soon.

My next chest Xray is 18th March when hopefully it will show the pneumonia all cleared up.

I wrote a post on here yesterday with my monthly list of Awareness Days for the month and March has so many I had to leave some out and write seperate posts for them. Its amazing how these awareness days/weeks or for the month have really helped different conditions. Here is my post on the March awareness dates.
